Final Exam Review Sheet 2024-2025!

Study for the final exam by chipping away 10 minutes a day!

Friday, June 20- Last day of the 4th quarter.  Last chance for makeup work, but most importantly, study for the final exam!

Final exam schedule

Monday, June 23
A- 8:00 AM-9:30 AM
B- 10:00 AM- 11:30 AM
C- 12:30 PM-2:00 PM

Tuesday, June 24
D- 8:00 AM-9:30 AM
E- 10:00 AM- 11:30 AM

Wednesday, June 25
F- 8:00 AM-9:30 AM
G- 10:00 AM- 11:30 AM

General information- Students should get to class nice and early with a charged chromebook.  Admin only can admit late students.  Students must stay the entire time.  Administration is clear this is important.  If your other teachers do not do this, do not expect me to follow their lead.  We will be in 2216 for 90 minutes.

The Final exam is WWII-Present.  Study the following:
  • WWII Test (Ch 24-25)
  • Early Cold War Test (Ch 26-27)
  • 1960's-1970's Test (CH 28, 30 and 32)
  • Civil Rights Test (Ch 29 and 31)
  • Notes for 1980's, 1990's and 2000's (Ch 33 and 34)
Those tests can be reviewed on Google classroom.  Also, the results were released to students via email. 

Part 1- The common final exam:
  • 19 multiple choice regarding WWII
  • 13 multiple choice regarding the "early Cold War" (of the 40's and 50's)
  • Matching question about the Korean War
  • 8 multiple choice regarding "An Affluent Society 1953-1960"
  • 27 multiple choice regarding "Civil Rights and other social movements"
  • 13 multiple choice regarding "Politics and war of the 1960's"
That is 81 multiple choice worth 84 points total
Short answers (rubric)- 16 points total

Presidents 1933-Present (15 multiple choice worth 2 or 3 points each)
1960's, 1970's, 1980's, 1990's and 2000's content multiple choice (22 questions worth 2 or 3 points each)
A Block only- Study the US States and prepare for maps of countries the US interacted with 1945-present.
Open Response
-Evaluate (Explain your opinion of or explain the effectiveness of) ONE of the following:
  • Affordable Care Act (Obamacare)
  • The Trump administration Travel Ban
  • Biden administration vaccine mandates
-Explain at one technology that emerged in the 1990's or later and explain how it impacts America.
